Why we built CargoYatra
CargoYatra is built by Lacspace, a software studio. The more logistics operators we met — transporters, courier agencies, freight forwarders, fleet owners — the more we saw the same thing: an entire industry running on paper registers, tangled Excel sheets and endless phone calls.
Bookings written by hand. Drivers called to find out where a shipment is. Invoices reconciled by hand at month-end, with revenue quietly leaking through the cracks. The rest of the world moved online — logistics, somehow, got left behind.
So we built the software we wished these operators already had: one platform that replaces the registers, spreadsheets and scattered tools with booking, live tracking, fleet, warehouse and billing in a single place. Modern software for an industry the software world forgot.
